Moonglade
Moonglade was born from an idea to reuse the same track segment multiple times. I wanted to push my abilities to innovate in a way I hadn’t seen before. Moonglade uses switch tracks and tilt tracks, and riders experience the middle segment backward.
The coaster was designed using No Limits 2 and helped me develop my CAD skills. I learned more effective ways to use CAD software.
-
Halfway through the coaster, the train stops and proceeds backward down the hill. Then the ride car is stopped once again before the next launch.
-
Once backward the rider is taken through the same portion of track again, through the use of switch tracks.
-
Finally where the rider had gotten stopped before, they are tilted on their back and dropped down the canyon.
